„Rīgas satiksme” informs that on May 14 and 15, during “Rimi Children’s Day” and “Rimi Riga Marathon 2022” events, changes in certain routes of public transport are planned/ will be made. Several routes will be closed (are scheduled for closure) during the event.

May 14

During the race “DPD mile”, from approximately 10.00 until approximately 10.30, in accordance with the indications of the State police, movement of certain routes of public transport will be temporarily suspended for bus routes No. 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 24, 37, 41, 50 and 53, trolleybus routes No. 3, 5, 14, 17, 19 and 25.

BUS routes

Bus routes No. 3., 4, 7, 8, 10,21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 32, 37, 38, 39, 41, 43, 53, 54 and 55 in the direction from the centre, from ~6.45 until ~14.30will cross the Stone Bridge along the tram tracks and will stop at the tram stop “Nacionālā bibliotēka” (“National library”).

From the final point in Mīlgrāvis, the route will be closed, the last trip from Mīlgrāvis will be at 8:09.

Trams route No. 7from 7.20 until 14.50will run from Ķengarags along the route to Aspazijas boulevard, further along Aspazijas boulevard, K. Barona Street, Radio Street, 13.janvāra Street and back along the route to Ķengarags. From Ausekļa Street the route will be closed.

Trams route No. 11from ~7.20 until ~14.40will run from Mežaparks along the route to K.Barona Street, further along K.Barona Street, Aspazijas boulevard, 13.janvāra Street, Radio Street, K.Barona Street and back to Mežaparks. From Ausekļa Street the route will be closed.

TROLLEYBUS routes

Trolleybuses routes No. 9 and 27 in the direction from the centre, from ~6.45 until ~14.30 will cross the Stone Bridge along the tram tracks and will stop at the tram stop “Nacionālā bibliotēka” (“National library”).

Trolleybuses route No. 3from ~8.00 until ~13.40will run from the Central Market along the route to Marijas Street, further along Marijas Street, A. Trolleybus route No. 5– is closed from the beginning of the traffic until 15.03 (from the final point Daugava Stadium);

Trolleybus route No. 9 from ~6.15 until ~15.10 , the rate of the traffic flow is increased.

From the beginning of the traffic until ~15.10 will run from the Station Square along the route to Uzvaras boulevard, further along Uzvaras boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street, Baložu Street and further along the route. From Iļģuciems it will run without changes.

Trolleybuses route No. 14 and 17

From Mežciems and Purvciems

• from ~8.00 until ~12.00 will run along the route to Brīvības Street, further along Brīvības Street, Pērnavas Street,A. Čaka Street, Marijas Street, Elizabetes Street, Satekles Street to the Central Station (the final point of trolleybus routes No. 18/23).

From the Central Station

• The stop “Central Station” in Raiņa boulevard (near the tunnel) is closed.

Trolleybuses route No. 19

• from ~8.00 until ~15.20 will run from Inženieru Street to Ziepniekkalns along the route to Valdeķu Street, further along Valdeķu Street, Ozolciema Street to Ziepniekkalna D/P(the final stop of trolleybus No. 4). From Ziepniekkalna D/P it will run along Ozolciema Street, Valdeķu Street and further along the route to Inženieru Street. From Pētersalas Street the route is closed.
• From ~7.35 until ~9.40 trolleybuses wil run along the Island Bridge, without stopping at the stops “Zaķusala”, “Lucavsala” and “Mūkusalas rotation circle”.
• The stop „Ziepniekkalns” (the final stop of trolleybus No. 19) is closed.

Trolleybus route No. 25 from the beginning of the trafficuntil 14.48 is closed (from the final point Iļģuciems).

Trolleybuses route No. 27

from ~6.45 until ~14.30 will run from the Station Square along the route to the Stone Bridge, further along the Stone Bridge, Uzvaras boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Streetand further along the route.

From Ziepniekkalnsfrom ~7.35 until ~9.40 they will run along along the route to Jelgavas Street, further along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Uzvaras boulevard, Stone Bridge and further along the route.

TICKETS

During the marathon, on May 15, until the end of the marathon, passengers who have purchased and use one-month tickets intended for the closed trolleybus and tram routes will be allowed to use them on the other bus, trolleybus and tram routes without registration of the trip.
